The Idaho Hispanic Foundation is thrilled to announce the appointment of Mari Ramos as our new Chief Executive Director. Mari brings a wealth of experience and a deep commitment to the Hispanic community in Idaho, and we are excited about the direction and growth she will bring to our foundation.


Mari will collaborate closely with an experienced board of directors led by Enrique Rivera, President of the Board, to guide the Idaho Hispanic Foundation towards a future brimming with promise and opportunity.


Our Mission and Vision Under Mari's Leadership


The Idaho Hispanic Foundation supports Idaho’s Hispanic/Latino community by CONNECTING individuals to essential resources, DEVELOPING entrepreneurial and leadership skills, and foster economic growth through EMPOWERING workforce programs. We provide access to crucial health and wellness services, guide entrepreneurs in securing capital and scaling their ventures, and offer educational workshops and engaging cultural programs. We are building a thriving future for generational success.


The Idaho Hispanic Foundation (IHF) is committed to expanding our impact through the following initiatives:


Enhancing Community Health & Wellness: Strengthening the well-being of underserved communities to provide culturally relevant workshops, training, and education. Through the Community Resource Center, IHF ensures increased access to basic needs such as food and hygiene products, also health services and vital community connections, making it a central hub for health and wellness initiatives in underserved areas.


Leadership Advancement and Advocacy: Promoting professional growth through leadership training and mentorship programs while encouraging community members to take on leadership roles. IHF also advocates for the needs of the Hispanic community by collaborating with business leaders and organizations to create opportunities for partnerships, resources, and strategic initiatives that benefit the community.


Workforce Development: Connecting individuals with vocational training and job placement assistance by identifying in-demand skills and offering career counseling. In collaboration with educational institutions, IHF supports lifelong learning and professional development.


Entrepreneurial Support and Capital Readiness: Building a strong entrepreneurial ecosystem by offering business workshops and increasing access to funding. Through the Capital Readiness Program, IHF provides financial coaching, business planning, and prepares entrepreneurs to secure capital for business growth and scalability.


Fostering Cultural Enrichment: Enhancing cultural awareness by organizing diverse festivals, educational workshops, and providing multilingual support services. The initiative also focuses on heritage conservation and promoting diversity in arts and media.
