The Idaho Hispanic Foundation (IHF) believes that leadership starts with connection. Strong relationships create strong leaders — and every young person deserves guidance from someone who understands their journey.
Through our IHF Mentores initiative, we bring together students and young adults with local business owners, professionals, and community leaders who are ready to share their experiences, guidance, and encouragement.
Our goal at this stage is simple: to build relationships that inspire.

Hosting networking events and conversations that open doors to leadership, education, and entrepreneurship.
Creating spaces where cultural identity, mentorship, and opportunity come together.
This is just the beginning. IHF Mentores will continue to grow into a fully structured mentorship program — offering workshops, leadership training, and long-term guidance designed to empower Idaho’s next generation of Latino leaders.
This course has seven modules, with different assignments and weekly journals to work through your thoughts and understanding of the different concepts. It is a self-paced, ungraded course that aims to broaden your understanding on your own terms. Leadership is a wide term with many different theories, styles, and pieces that play into how we show up as a leader.
